Senior Analog Design Engineer

About the Company
A growing semiconductor design company specialising in custom ASIC development is expanding its analog design team. The business delivers high-performance analog and mixed-signal ICs across a range of applications including medical, automotive, security, and industrial markets.
The Role
You will play a key technical role in the definition, design, and delivery of complex analog ASICs, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead architecture definition and feasibility studies, evaluating trade-offs across power, area, and performance
-Define ASIC specifications in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders
-Present and justify technical decisions and design progress in internal and customer-facing reviews
-Contribute hands-on to analog circuit design, working closely with a team of experienced designers
-Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
-Drive projects through the full development lifecycle: design, verification, silicon validation, qualification, and production
-Act as the technical interface with customers, ensuring performance meets specificationsRequired Experience & Skills
-Degree in Microelectronics or a related field
-~10+ years of experience in analog IC design
-Strong expertise in power management design, such as:
-High-performance LDOs
-DC-DC converters (isolated and non-isolated)
-Power drivers (FET, high-voltage, etc.)
-Solid understanding of:
-Architecture definition and trade-off analysis
-Robust design and layout practices
-High-voltage CMOS technologies
-Proven experience delivering full chip projects from concept to silicon
-Strong customer-facing experience and communication skillsAdditional Skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
-Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
-Proactive, with a high level of ownership and accountability
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
