Role Responsibilities
* Manage and grow customer portfolio – Maintain and develop relationships with existing coatings customers, proactively identify new opportunities, and contribute directly to sustainable business growth.
* Drive the sales process end-to-end – Handle inquiries, offers, and orders, follow up via CRM/ERP systems, and ensure accurate sales documentation so that customers experience a smooth, professional service.
* Collaborate as a true sparring partner – Work closely with the Industry Manager and the wider sales team, sharing market insights, supporting technical-commercial discussions, and contributing to the achievement of broader commercial goals.
Requirements
* Proven commercial foundation – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus several years in a commercial or sales role, ideally within an international B2B environment, enabling you to quickly take ownership of your customer portfolio.
* Strong B2B sales and industry affinity – Solid customer relationship management skills, experience in account management and new business development, and a good understanding of business dynamics in the coatings or chemicals industry so you can advise customers credibly.
* Multilingual and digitally skilled – Fluency in Dutch and French and strong proficiency in English, combined with confident use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
