We are recruiting, on behalf of an international company operating in the Medical Devices industry, an Export Area Manager to join the Medical Division.

Reporting directly to the Export Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing sales activities across assigned international markets, primarily within Europe, with the territory to be defined based on the selected candidate’s experience and background.

Key Responsibilities

* Achieve the assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
* Develop and manage relationships with international distributors, ensuring business growth and market expansion.
* Promote and demonstrate medical devices to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
* Provide technical and commercial support during product evaluations and surgical procedures in the operating room.
* Work closely with hospitals, distributors, and clinical staff to facilitate product adoption and customer satisfaction.
* Identify new business opportunities and support the expansion of the company’s presence in international markets.
* Attend national and international congresses, exhibitions, and industry events.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Ensure compliance with export regulations and applicable medical device standards.

Requirements

* At least 2-3 years of sales experience in the Medical Device industry.
* Previous experience selling capital equipment is highly preferred.
* Experience managing international distributors is considered a strong advantage.
* Experience working with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and supporting surgical procedures in the operating room.
* Candidates with successful sales experience in the Italian market who are motivated to transition into an international export role will also be considered.
* Good command of English; knowledge of French is a plus.
* University degree, preferably in a technical or scientific discipline.
* Willingness to travel extensively across international markets.

What We Offer

* Permanent employment contract.
* Salary in the range of EUR43,000-EUR45,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
* Annual performance bonus based on agreed business objectives.

* Full-time position (40 hours per week).

Work Location

When not travelling, the successful candidate will primarily work remotely from their place of residence, with visits to the headquarters as required.
