The candidate will closely follow the 2024 salary review of the Amsterdam office and will provide expert advice in the field of Reward for about 8 country programs. The contract duration will be seven months.Main responsibilitiesStrategic Reward AdviceInfluencing Senior Management on worldwide strategic decisions in the Total Reward area.Build-up the MSF Rewards strategy supported by operational insight, calculations, scenario assessment, risk/benefits analysis.Define MSF Reward set-up, enable informed discussion on proposals, and support the decision-making process at the IDRH, ExCom, MT and other stakeholder platforms.Finding optimal solutions in the harmonization of MSF approach to different staff categories in line with the diversity and inclusion principles and the Global workforce goal.Technical ExpertiseForecast trends by performing macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis.Being able to work with poor or missing economic data and finding coherent alternative solutions.Being able to balance data, law requirements and staff expectations.Finding optimal solutions in the event of economic and social crisis, in line with both economic data and the security contest of the country (shortage of local currency, hyperinflation, deflation, fall in exchange rate, etc).Revising Salary Grids, providing budget simulations, validate results of salary benchmarks.Policy ProcessYou will be responsible to propose and elaborate new guidelines, policies and procedures for MSF globally.You will be supervising the adaptation of approved regulations in local contexts and design contractual package for all staff categories.Other ProjectsSuccessfully deliver the 2024 salary review for the Amsterdam office.Candidate profileKnowledge of Dutch language and Dutch labour market is a strong advantageMinimum 3-5 Years experience in Compensation and BenefitsAble to work independentlyExcellent organizing and communication skillsProfessional HR qualificationFluency in English both verbal and writtenKnowledge of modern HR challenges and best practices is essential (e.g. teleworking, change management)CompetencesAnalytical thinkingStrategic visionResults and quality orientationTeamwork and cooperationWe offerA Dutch employment contract from August 15th 2024, based on 40 hours per week.
