MrQ is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join the Product team, work side by side with other skilled Product Managers and play a crucial role in defining and driving the vision, strategy, development and life cycle of the products handled by one of our dedicated Tribes, focusing on:

  • Core Platform Services and Integration: managing and optimising the foundational infrastructure that supports all tribes, including global website navigation, API gateways, app wrappers, and performance/security via Cloudflare.
  • Developer Experience and Shared Infrastructure:standardise tools, service templates, and frontend common infrastructure to boost developer productivity and ensure consistency across tribes.
  • Monitoring, Security, and Observability: Delivering the necessary platforms for security monitoring, system observability, and analytics.

Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, and stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead product initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leveraging Agile methodologies to deliver high-impact results.

What You Will Do

  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear Product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with Tribe engineers and stakeholders to define Product roadmaps and prioritize feature development based on business value and customer feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to define Product requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, demos, milestones, and priorities.
  • Iterative Development: Drive the Agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of Product initiatives, ensure tracking points are collected as part of delivery process and iterate based on data-driven insights, to enhance customer experience and retention.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5 years+ experience in relevant tech roles, with good knowledge and understanding of Product Management. Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Agile Practitioner: Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions, assess priorities and approach problems with proactive mindset
  • Player-Centric: Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Platform Services and Integration: Experience with core services, including global website navigation, API gateways, app wrappers, and performance/security via Cloudflare, to ensure consistent and reliable integration across platforms while enhancing security and scalability.
  • Developer Experience and Shared Infrastructure: Mindset of standardised tools, service templates, and frontend common infrastructure to boost developer productivity and ensure consistency across tribes, to reduce duplication of effort, enabling tribes to efficiently develop business features on a shared foundation.
  • Monitoring, Security, and Observability: Strong focus on security monitoring, system observability, and analytics, to optimise performance and security of Tribes services, responding to issues proactively, and making data-driven decisions.

Ideally, this role is based in Malta or the UK. However, we are also open to hiring fully remote candidates under a B2B consultancy agreement.
