With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people.We are currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!The Senior Test Engineer coordinates day-to-day operations during lab testing and helps achieve product development project goals, while elevating the lab team to a new level of performance and proficiency.What kind of work will you be doing?

• Plans and follows the progress of all laboratory tests related to assigned projects
• Collaborates and influences other business areas to pin the testing needs of various projects and plan to address any gaps in feasibility vs expectations.
• Coordinates laboratory technicians throughout the project.
• Work with the lab manager to improve safety, facilities, efficiency, and turnaround times.
• Works according to internal instructions based on the requirements of the role, in turn helping to standardize work and introduce new skills.
• Participates in product testing at designated external laboratories
• Critically reports and assesses the measured data with the expected data and with the simulation tools to elaborate a proposal aimed at the improvement of the products during the development phase

What will make you successful?

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar (e.g., thermodynamics or energetics) or long-term experience in a similar role
• At least 4 years previous work in a similar position (e.g. testing or management in test environment)
• Flexibility and focus to adapt to changing priorities while leading project team assigned to the result
• Problem-solving skills
• Strategic vision – the Sr Test Engineer can see the desired future state and align the internal necessary steps to achieve it
• Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement techniques
• Numerical modeling skills of components and systems related to the refrigeration business (HVAC&R)
• Good knowledge of Italian and English and MS Office
