Emerging Technologies (ET) is a newly established SVP area in Novo Nordisk. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets. ET are well-known for having a pioneering spirit as well as a curious and daring approach and we play a key role in developing and producing future treatments for millions of patients around the world. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 55,000 employees.You will be joining the CVP area Drug Product Manufacturing Development & Quality Control (DP MDev & QC), which has process and product responsibility for existing and future oral drug products post-launch, as well as performing all analyses on products after method transfer. We work across the ET organization to improve productivity of our production and analytical processes. The area currently consists of 7 departments and is expanding to prepare for new drug products.The position
In this Senior Manager role, the main responsibility will be to lead and develop highly skilled project managers who run strategic cross-functional Drug Product and Optimisation Projects. The team is anchored in our Project Office in DP MDev & QC and is expanding as more products are entering life cycle management. The team is responsible for managing and leading product- and process related product projects such as product transfers, technical upgrades, or capacity expansions within our drug product facilities and CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organisation).Your main responsibilities will include:Motivating, coaching, leading, and setting direction for your teamSetting up and maintaining project management structures, standards and governances to enable project management excellenceBuilding and maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders across the organisationOwnership of the drug product project portfolio across ET DP MDev & QC and ensuring strategic direction for the areaBuilding the team’s ability to effectively translate business priorities into operational plansQualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:An Academic Degree such as engineer, pharmacist, chemist, or similar scientific/technical education

Some years of experience leading strategic, complex, cross-functional projects in regulated industries combined with solid expertise as a people leaderProven track-record in project and people leadershipExcellent stakeholder management skillsProfessional proficiency in EnglishAs an individual you thrive in engaging, motivating and inspiring your employees to perform in a dynamic and international environment. Moreover, you exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, such as being positive, open, honest, and having a holistic approach.
