We provide a learning budget by function for professional development and offer a comprehensive L&D program that enhances both technical expertise and soft skills.Let’s rewrite the rules of banking together!About the teams:The Observability Platform team aims to deliver a delightful observability experience that enables the organization, while making smart & data driven decisions about the cost structure.The Continuous Delivery team focuses on delivering our applications to production in a way that empowers the developers via building pipelines, owning our build infrastructure, and implementing gitops practices globally.What you’ll do

• Coach, develop and manage the teams and individual contributors.
• Own the teams’ roadmap and execution: Partner closely with principal engineers, product managers, other engineering managers and the teams to build, prioritize and execute the backlog.
• Balance the long term, visionary thinking with a sound tactical execution to make sure every step taken and effort spent is in the right direction.
• Bring your engineering background together with the business understanding to help making decisions at different levels.
• Deliver solutions & introduce frameworks to elevate the Builder experience: Understand the Mambu constraints and bring cutting edge technologies and frameworks together with empathy to drive developer productivity. Think about feature flags, observability standards (OpenTelemetry), golden paths, internal developer portals, building layers of abstraction, containerized pipelines, GitOps tooling/practices and more.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience leading, building and growing teams, preferably a mix of software and platform engineers.
• Experience in initiating and leading engineering initiatives from positions of no authority and positions of authority.
• Experience in initiating and delivering parallel streams of work while balancing deliveries with technical debt repayment.
• Proven ability to prioritize ruthlessly, make decisions in alignment with the organizational objectives, and lead your teams to the finish line in a B2B SaaS setup.
• Previous experience as a lead/staff level software engineer with a sound technical background who can communicate and challenge technical/architectural decisions from a position of knowledge
• Proficiency in (multi) cloud-native infrastructure and in-depth understanding of either AWS or GCP computing, networking and storage services, together with the associated cost structures
• A sound understanding of Kubernetes architecture/concepts and the serverless implementation.
