Sales Manager – Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal)
We are supporting an international medical technology company operating in the field of advanced diagnostic imaging solutions.
The company develops and commercializes high-end imaging systems used in hospital and clinical environments, supporting healthcare professionals in delivering accurate and efficient diagnostic outcomes. The organization is well established in the medical imaging sector and continues to expand its presence across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement the regional sales strategy across Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal) in line with business objectives
* Drive commercial growth and increase market share within the assigned territory
* Manage existing key accounts and develop new business opportunities within hospitals and diagnostic centers
* Identify, qualify, and convert new prospects into long-term customers
* Collect and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activity and market trends
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and local partners
* Collaborate with internal teams such as Service, Marketing, Clinical Support, R&D, and Tender Office
* Support customer training and ensure proper product adoption and usage
* Manage the full sales cycle including orders, renewals, and delivery coordination
* Participate in relevant industry congresses and events, ensuring structured follow-up on leads
* Monitor competitive landscape and provide regular market feedback to headquarters
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience in medical imaging capital equipment sales (e.g., SPECT, CT, PET or similar technologies)
* Strong experience in international sales environments within the healthcare sector
* Proven track record in managing distributor networks across multiple countries
* Established network within hospitals and diagnostic imaging departments is highly desirable
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Results-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clinical and technical stakeholders
* Autonomous, structured, and comfortable working in a matrix organization
* Willingness to travel across Southern Europe
* Located in Italy, Spain of Portugal
