Join Our Finance Team as an Intern – RtR (Intercompany / GL)
We are currently looking for motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our Finance Department, specifically within the Record to Report (RtR) team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an international environment and support key financial processes.
Within the RtR team, the intern will have the opportunity to join either the Intercompany (IC) or General Ledger (GL) team. In both teams, you will support the preparation of monthly financial reports, perform reconciliations, ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and prepare documentation for audits.
Principal Responsibilities:
Intercompany Team:
-Accounting Excellence: Perform diverse accounting activities for different countries using the ORACLE ERP system.
-Data Management: Maintain and convert databases using Excel and other advanced applications.
-Process Improvement: Take part in “Lean” projects focused on modifying and improving team processes (e.g., account reconciliation standards and intercompany improvements).
-Financial Support: Assist in reconciling intercompany transactions, preparing monthly reports, and organizing documentation for audits.
-Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings and support communication with international stakeholders.
GL Team:
-Accounting Excellence: Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, using the ORACLE ERP system
-Data Management: Maintain and analyze financial data using Excel and other advanced applications
-Process Improvement: Take part in “Lean” projects focused on optimizing and standardizing accounting processes (e.g., balance sheet reconciliation standards, month-end close improvements).
-Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure data accuracy and completeness
-Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings and support communication with international stakeholders
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
-Education: Final-year student or recent graduate (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred).
-Languages: Fluency in English (min. B2) is essential.
-Tech Savvy: Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel). Understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
-Mindset: A self-starter with a “can-do” attitude, strong ownership of tasks, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
-Collaboration: A team player with a willingness to work in a collaborative environment, actively engage with others, and build positive relationships within the team.
-Adaptability: Positive attitude towards challenges, openness to change, and willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
