The Bridge within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business are looking to appoint an experienced, highly skilled Administrator. The Bridge integrates the Faculty’s professional services support for Research, Experiential Education, KE and Civic and Cultural engagement. This powerful combination of expertise supports staff, students, businesses and communities to build projects and partnerships that embed and embody placemaking – using creative, strategic, and tactical collaboration to enable positive socio-economic and environmental change.The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities. This is a busy and crucial role where you will work with a broad range of stakeholders across the Faculty organising events, visits and meetings (including supporting the Chairs / meeting organisers both prior-to and following meetings), providing data to inform decision making, co-ordinating calendars, minute taking, processing finances and contributing to financial planning, supporting the smooth running of the wider team.You will be a self-starter who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and confidently drive projects forward.   • A highly skilled and experienced administrator who can evidence working in a proactive capacity and demonstrate strong self-leadership skills, taking ownership of their work and driving continuous improvement.
  • An excellent planner and organiser who can confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in understanding context, recognising the impact and interdependencies of projects, and adept at spotting and nurturing connections between them to drive positive outcomes.
  • A skilful and confident communicator with excellent IT skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a professional approach and be able work both as part of a team and use their own initiative.
