CIM BladesIn CIM Blades, we work closely with blade designers, engineers and sub-suppliers on multiple activities, so we continually direct and improve the project execution and delivery to improve customer satisfaction, operational quality, and overall business growth and profitability. We are key to the delivery of our current and future innovation.ResponsibilitiesAs Project Manager in CIM Blades, your key responsibilities and tasks will be:

  • Taking ownership of, and organising, planning and implementing technical projects with a high level of complexity
  • Interfacing and communicating with stakeholders in the entire value chain
  • Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with the VWS Business Units and within VTO(R&D)
  • Handling technical projects of different levels of complexity in the blade area
  • Initiating and coordinating corrective actions for changes in turbine design aimed at addressing faults and improving turbine performance
  • Handling your stakeholders efficiently by building and maintaining relations

You will work closely with Sales Business Units, Production Business Units, Construction, Transportation, Service organizations, suppliers, and all of VTO and Management to carry out all the tasks above.QualificationsThe most important thing is that you know how a wind turbine functions and have proficiency in project management of a complex technical nature. Additional key criteria for performing well in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years experience preferably from the wind industry
  • Exposure to multi-culture and international organization
  • Experience in with DMAIC improvement cycle, 6-Sigma
  • Exposure to SCRUM and gate models is an added value
  • High level of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Management and Continuous Improvement Management

  • Able to work in a time-sensitive situation with a pragmatic approach
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to inspire project groups are essential components of excelling in this position
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously
