About SAP Global Delivery Hub

The Global Delivery Hub (GDH) is SAP’s global consulting organization within Customer Success & Adoption. Our mission is to help customers successfully adopt SAP innovation across solutions, industries, and delivery models—ensuring predictable outcomes, high quality, and long-term business value.

GDH supports SAP’s regional organizations (Market Units) worldwide by providing deep expertise, standardized delivery methodologies, and scalable execution capacity for complex transformation programs.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead some of SAP’s most strategic and complex transformation programs, including large-scale SAP S/4HANA and RISE with SAP initiatives.

You will be part of SAP’s Delivery Management Office (DMO)—a global team responsible for project governance, delivery excellence, and portfolio oversight across SAP’s most critical engagements. In this role, you will not only deliver high-impact programs but also help shape how SAP executes projects globally.

This is a senior leadership role combining hands-on program delivery with broader influence on delivery standards, methodology, and capability development.

What You’ll Build

Lead Strategic SAP Transformation Programs

-Own end-to-end delivery of complex SAP programs (S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, multi-workstream transformations)
-Apply SAP Activate methodology to ensure structured, predictable execution
-Drive alignment across SAP teams, customers, and system integration partners
 

Act as the Senior Delivery Authority

-Serve as the primary point of accountability for program delivery outcomes
-Engage confidently with C-level stakeholders across customer and SAP leadership
-Provide direction and decision-making in complex, high-pressure delivery environments
 

Drive Governance, Risk & Financial Management

-Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks (scope, RAID, financials, reporting)
-Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control
-Oversee financial performance including forecasting, margin, and commercial integrity
 

Ensure Delivery Excellence & Standards

-Enforce best practices in project management, quality assurance, and delivery governance
-Champion SAP’s Clean Core approach (ensuring scalable, upgradeable ERP architectures)
-Drive adoption of SAP’s integrated delivery toolchain (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Signavio, LeanIX)
 

Contribute to Global Delivery Leadership

-Mentor and coach project managers across regions
-Contribute to delivery methodology, governance frameworks, and capability development
-Support portfolio-level insights, risk reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
 

What You Bring

Experience & Expertise:

-12+ years of SAP project/program management experience
-Proven delivery of large, complex SAP transformation programs (multi-country, multi-partner)
-Strong expertise in SAP Activate methodology and program governance
-Deep understanding of:

-SAP S/4HANA (Public & Private Cloud)
-RISE with SAP
-SAP BTP and extensibility concepts
-Cloud delivery models and lifecycle management
 

Leadership & Influence:

-Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-level stakeholders
-Ability to lead large, distributed teams across geographies and organizations
-Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and escalation handling skills
 

Commercial & Delivery Acumen:

-Solid financial management capabilities (forecasting, margin, change control)
-Experience working in multi-vendor environments (including global system integrators)
-Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk and delivery challenges
 

Certifications (Preferred):

-SAP Activate Project Manager Certification
-PMP(R), PRINCE2(R), Agile/Scrum certifications
-SAP S/4HANA or relevant solution certifications
