Male SEN Secondary Teaching AssistantLocation: England, Greater London, ClaphamJob Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hoursSalary: £80 – £100 per dayJob Duties:

  • Provide support and assistance to secondary school students with special educational needs (SEN) in various subjects
  • Help create and implement individualised education plans for students with SEN
  • Assist in classroom management and behaviour support
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the overall well-being and progress of students
  • Support students with personal care and mobility needs as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Education:Minimum of GCSEs including English and MathsExperience:Prior experience in a similar role within an educational settingKnowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of SEN best practises and approaches
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid training

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily within a secondary school setting
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential for additional training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
