About usThe UCL Department of Information Studies offers postgraduate qualifications for the library, archive, digital humanities, information and publishing professions, collaborates in the delivery of an inter-faculty BSc in Information Management for Business and is launching a new BSc Information in Society programme at UCL East from 2024. We have a strong international reputation for research collaboration.About the roleThe focus of the role will be at the master’s level within the MA in Library and Information Studies. The successful candidate will also be expected to supervise master’s dissertations, and undertake academic related administrative duties. If you have any queries regarding the role please email dis.admin@ucl.ac.ukAbout youWe are seeking an innovative applicant to appoint to a 2-year fixed contract 0.43FTE lectureship, with the post available from October 2024, who can support teaching in the broad field of library and information studies. We are particularly interested in applicants who could support teaching in a broad range of library and information studies areas, including but not limited to library technologies, scholarly communication, information literacy, and critical approaches to library and information work.What we offerAs well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer some great benefits some of which are below:
