International Account Manager – Chemical Distribution

Our client, a dynamic European chemical distributor and specialty products partner, offers a challenging and versatile EU x2011;wide Product & Sales Management role. You will be given end x2011;to x2011;end ownership of a concrete portfolio of chemical raw materials and specialty products, with clear success stories of colleagues who have grown their portfolios, stepped into broader commercial leadership and shaped strategic supplier relationships across Europe.

Role Responsibilities:

* Manage and grow a designated portfolio of chemical raw materials and specialty products, driving profitable sales and market share across diverse industrial applications in Europe.
* Act as the central interface between suppliers, customers, logistics, procurement and customer service, shaping commercial agreements, pricing strategies and long x2011;term collaboration models.
* Develop and execute product and sales strategies in line with the company’s growth objectives: identifying new opportunities, visiting customers and suppliers across Europe, and building sustainable, value x2011;adding partnerships.

Requirements:

* University degree in Chemistry, Economy or Business Administration, enabling you to combine technical understanding with strong commercial insight in industrial markets.
* At least 3 years’ experience in the chemical industry or chemical distribution and proven success in B2B sales, product management or business development, giving you the foundation to quickly take ownership of your portfolio.
* Strong knowledge of chemical raw materials and specialty products, excellent negotiation and communication skills in English (German a strong plus), a proactive, analytical mindset and willingness to travel regularly across Europe to meet customers and suppliers.
