Are you ready to take on a strategic HR role with one of the leading companies in the medical industry? We are looking for a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in Rome and collaborate with business leaders to shape the future of our organization.

This is a key role aimed at strengthening collaboration and driving relationships within the Southern Europe division, with opportunities for growth within the company!

Key Activities & Accountabilities:

  • Strategic advisor and Business Partner : Act as a key partner to business leaders, providing strategic HR support and being their point of reference.

  • Engagement and Culture : Collaborate to implement engagement initiatives that promote Stryker’s culture and values across the organization.

  • Performance and Development : Support managers in managing employee performance, development, and engagement.

  • Talent and Succession Planning : Drive the talent strategy, ensuring effective succession planning and retention of High Potential and High Performer employees.

  • Training and Development : Implement training programs, including self-funded courses and teambuilding activities.

  • Recruitment Support : Assist in recruitment efforts in collaboration with the European Talent Acquisition Team.

  • Collaboration with CoEs : Build a strong relationship with our Divisional Strategic HRBP’s

  • Compliance and Relations : Support the HR Country Lead in managing employee and labor relations, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Who we are looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Economics or similar (HR Management studies are a plus)

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience within a matrixed and multinational company (ideally in the health sector)

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across different cultures and locations

  • Proven skills in analytical thinking, presenting, and managing vendor relationships

  • Strong collaboration with business partners, driving strategic HR initiatives and trustful relationships

  • Experience in reviewing and streamlining processes and implementing best practices

  • Fluent in English and Italian. Fluency in Spanish is a strong advantage
