Summary You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER in the Unaccompanied Housing Division ofNAVSUPPACT NAPLES. Responsibilities You will counsel unaccompanied housing residents on housing policies and procedures with regards to rights, privileges, and responsibilities. You will address unaccompanied housing issues in order to implement action as appropriate. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will conduct special studies on unique or extraordinary problems or issues that may result in complex assignment, termination and housing challenges, and implement solutions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing the application of housing management principles, and concepts to provide a full range of methods and processes related to housing management, planning, operation, occupancy, maintenance and utilization of housing facilities; 2) Directing programs in support of family housing actions (i.e. policies, procedures, budgeting, planning and managing resources) to oversee property management and provide customer support; 3) Preparing and reviewing contracts, contract specifications and plans to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance; and 4) Utilizing DoD regulations, policies and procedures related to Unaccompanied Housing Operations to provide appropriate oversight in the execution of APF funds, management, staffing/manpower and business management.
