To empower every food moment around the world, whether it’s through customer service, coding or couriers.About this role:The R2R Global Process Owner will be the owner of the finance operations processes within R2R. You are responsible for ensuring high quality and compliance from a financial perspective for all legal entities, encompassing a broad range of topics and many stakeholders.This individual will be responsible for setting KPIs and meeting the anticipated targets by focusing on the global process design, process deployment, further standardising and optimising the R2R process within the global Finance function while improving world class performance.The Global Process Owner will report to the GFO Director and collaborate with senior executives within Group Finance, Reportable Segment Finance Directors, Country Finance Leads, Tax, Corporate secretary and Finance Systems. Finally, the Global Process Owner acts as a link between the Global Process Sponsor and the Process Champions.These are some of the key ingredients to the role:You’ll have a team of approx 85-90 individuals across multiple countries and 5-7 Direct Reports.Define and communicate a clear vision and strategy for Record to Report processes across the JET operating model, in line with the GFO vision/strategyPossess ownership of R2R processes and act as subject matter expert (SME) for process documentationPartner and collaborate as a business partner with Group Reporting, Group FP&A, Reportable Segment FDs and Country Finance leads (for example for accounting, financial reporting and data governance), Tax, Corporate Secretary, Finance Systems, Legal, and other departments as necessary to ensure the teams are not only effectively supported, but also provide best in class user experience.Policy setting and writing and aligning standards and procedures of the process with other Process Owners ( Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P))Set and oversee the maintenance of Record to Report process level master data with the context of global data policy and standards and monitors adherence, in alignment with the Master Data Management policies/teamsCollaborate with the Risk and Control and Tax teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver on high-quality data to ensure VAT/Duties/CIT/Withholding declaration information are appropriately delivered and in accordance with local timing & requirementsDefine/Finetune/Deliver R2R Key performance indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to be used to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the sub-process and end-to-end business processSet out the guidelines for effective stakeholder mapping and continue to build the GFO foundational report. Get an understanding of stakeholders’ requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis, problem resolution, and supporting recommending optionsIdentify, prioritise and manage tower-specific process improvement initiatives (including system implementations), to drive better decisions in support of accelerated growth/efficiency initiativesMandate to approve/reject business cases requesting for R2R process changes, including the review and approve the set up of accounting flowsAct as a stakeholder to foster a culture of change within the Record to Report domain including change management sessions/workshopsConduct knowledge transfer to R2R team members in terms of processes and technologyEnsure delivery of R2R services, including asset and transaction reporting, period close, finance and external reporting, tax planning and compliance, transfer pricing, decision supportHelp develop, maintain and assess internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting systemsManage, prepare, administer and direct the account closing and financial reporting process of the GFO as requiredAdherence to timely and accurate preparation of financial information related to regulatory reporting including statutory financial statements, statistical reporting, CIT/VAT declarations.Talent development, i.e. coach and develop current team members to excel, stretch and expand in their role; and attract new GFO membersSupport the implementation of changes to workday finance through the change request committee (considering the data governance structure) and any other systems that will improve (finance) operations, ie. inventory management system, lease accounting tool, etcWhat will you bring to the table?Bachelor’s Degree (in accounting, finance or equivalent) + Professional Accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA)Extensive experience in the R2R domain (
10 years), with a strong understanding of the R2R end-to-end processExcellent understanding of the critical success factors as reliable, effective and efficient business service providerExperience of improving internal governance, and controls, and preparing KPI/ Dashboard reportingLeadership skills with experience in leading, managing and developing R2R teamsExperience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality using best practices, process review and process complianceTakes initiative and identifies issues with a solutions-oriented approach, a strong ability to overcome challenges, and high-level confidence in decision-making abilityExperience in Workday and OneStream Consolidation Tool are preferredDemonstrate knowledge of IFRS guidelinesExperience with project management and willingness to deliver in changing environments while effectively managing timelines.Good communication skills to collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders and effectively cascades the mission and vision of the Finance department.
