IT Solutions Architect, R&D IT Solutions

Do you work in the interface between R&D and IT in a highly complex pharma context? Join our Pharma IT powerhouse and transform business needs into requirements for IT solutions. We are looking for an IT Solutions Architect who can consult the business on IT solutions, and ensure coherence between applications and systems across R&D.

Your new role

As IT Solutions Architect, you will join a team of IT professionals that deliver business value by sourcing, implementing, and managing IT solutions to continuously improve R&D deliveries. The team consists of experienced project managers and solutions architects that provide an end-to-end perspective on R&D IT solutions. You will have a key role in creating and maintaining architecture for the relevant application and system portfolio.

You will work primarily with GxP projects and be
involved in global innovative projects, providing an end-to-end architectural perspective, and ensuring a strategic fit between solutions and business requirements for R&D solutions.

You will work closely with colleagues in Global IT and R&D as well as implementation and outsourcing partners. This means participate in technology and vendor selections, RfI and RfP processes, supplier and solution assessments, and the validation process

Further you will be responsible for creating roadmaps in alignment with IT and business strategy and provide support for incidents related to the applications and systems within R&D IT portfolio.

Your future team

As Solutions Architect in R&D IT Solutions, you will become part of Business IT Delivery within Global IT. Business IT Delivery is our Pharma IT Powerhouse consisting of solutions architects and project managers, partnering closely with key business areas; R&D, Production and Supporting Functions.

Global IT is a developing department with approximate 130 colleagues around the globe. We deliver IT and digital solutions while ensuring efficient operations to more than 5300 colleagues across all business areas and geographies. What you bring to the team

-Experience working with IT solutions that supports R&D functions, preferably within a GxP environment
-An ability to take lead in architecture and solution design and work in multi-vendors environment
-Has a structured and forward-looking mindset and ability to determine emerging business needs and propose appropriate responses
