Role Description

VIP Nation (UK) provides VIP package solutions to UK tours, festivals, and special events. The VIP Nation team works alongside the event organisers to develop VIP concepts and products to enhance the fan experience and generate revenue for the artist, festival or rightsholder.

This new role provides administrative support to the UK Finance function, as well as having ownership of several related duties with the potential for developing their responsibilities further.

Reporting to the Head of Finance for VIP Nation UK, you will need to possess exceptional numerical skills, be detailed orientated and have a methodical and meticulous approach to your work. This position will require some working away from home at festivals/tours.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Willingness to progress to take on financial ownership of a small portfolio of VIP Nation festivals and tours, which will include budgeting, forecasting, and post-event reconciliation.

  • The ideal candidate will be working towards a professional accountancy qualification.

  • Excellent numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in using Excel at intermediate or above level.

  • Experience in a similar position within a finance department

  • Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to multi-task, prioritise, manage task and work under pressure.

  • Good understanding of accountancy practises

  • Relevant industry experience with an enthusiasm for music highly desirable

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Process all VIP UK invoices with Purchase Ledger and deal with all related enquiries, internally or externally.

  • Raise VIP UK Accounts Receivable and show settlement invoices undertaking credit control and handle associated enquiries.

  • Reconcile invoices against purchases orders raised, investigating any differences.

  • Request and distribute internal project codes for shows.

  • Manage monthly settlement of the corporate credit card, ensuring all receipts are obtained and logged with a project code in accordance with company policy.

  • Process relevant team and show expenses in Concur, capturing or reconciling them with settlements.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the finance and wider team as required.

  • The role will require some working away from the office and attendance at festivals/tours.
