Role Description

An opportunity to embark on a career in finance, while we would welcome applications from candidates with some existing finance experience, it is not a pre-requisite.

The Finance Assistant plays a key role in delivering Live Nation’s internal and external reporting requirements for the UK group. Not limited to but including monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry postings, statutory account filings and Office of National Statistics surveys.

What it’s like to work in the Team

The Financial Reporting team is a small team, working together closely to support the wider LN finance function. We work flexibly, focussing on key reporting timelines and deliverables while maintaining valuable relationships with colleagues across finance and the wider business on a range of projects and ad hoc tasks.

What the role includes

• Assisting with the posting of monthly journals into Oracle and preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for those accounts

• Assisting with the preparation of individual company statutory accounts under FRS 102 (Excel based and CaseWare)

• Assisting with group and statutory audit requests

• Assisting with the preparation of tax packs for the Tax department

• Preparation of other monthly reports including other income and expense, restricted cash, non-base currency and income statement currency reconciliations

• Assisting with the preparation of certain deliverables associated with the statutory accounts, including iXBRL tagging, imputed interest calculations and reconciliations to Oracle

• Intragroup loan and interest reconciliations

• Monthly FAS 109 information for the Tax department

• Completion of Office of National Statistics surveys

• Other ad hoc requests and projects
