Engineering Manager – Facilities Management

Location: Stockholm, Copenhagen or Oslo

Salary: A‚¬50,000 – 55,000 or equivalent currency

Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for an exciting opportunity with an international facilities management business? We’re seeking a hands-on leader to oversee engineering operations across a growing portfolio of premium retail clients throughout Scandinavia.

About the Role

This is a varied role combining technical leadership with hands-on engineering support. You’ll manage maintenance operations across sites in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo, ensuring exceptional service delivery while supporting the continued growth of the business. Regular travel between sites is required, with occasional visits to the Paris.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage engineering and maintenance activities across multiple retail sites
* Lead by example, providing hands-on technical support when required
* Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
* Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and site teams
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and company standards
* Support the mobilisation of new client sites as the business continues to expand
* Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio

Requirements

* Previous experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Maintenance role within Facilities Management
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building services
* Hands-on approach with the ability to support engineers when needed
* Experience managing multiple sites or mobile engineering teams
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Willingness to travel regularly across Scandinavia and occasionally to Paris
