Salary: £32,517, plus generous pension and other benefits

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (exclusive of meal breaks)

Contract Type: Permanent, subject to 6 months’ probation

Selwyn College is seeking a full-time Development Officer to join our professional and dynamic Development team, which is responsible for keeping in touch with over 7,000 alumni of Selwyn College scattered all over the world.

Reporting to the Development Director and working as part of a close-knit team of six, the post holder will play a leading role in essential fundraising by maintaining relationships with supporters and working collaboratively and independently to increase support by providing opportunities for alumni to contribute to the College and its activities via charitable donations.

The post will be well suited to a development professional with fundraising experience who is seeking to advance their career as part of an experienced team. We are looking for a graduate (or equivalent) with a track record of managing regular giving programmes, and the successful candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to communicate engagingly with alumni, Fellows and colleagues at all levels.
