We have a current opportunity for a Head of Real Estate Commercial Data & Research on a permanent basis. For further information about this position please apply.We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to build and lead our commercial real estate data science team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our company’s strategic future by harnessing the power of data and AI to drive smarter decision-making across all aspects of our business. You will report into and work closely with the Global Head of Research and Strategy and help build out a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, UI experts and machine learners to implement cutting-edge data-driven solutions, and ultimately transforming our organization into a data-driven powerhouse.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data science strategy for the entire organization, aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
- Identify and prioritize key business problems that can be addressed through data science solutions.
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions across various areas, including:
- Investment and acquisition analysis
- Property valuation and forecasting
- Tenant churn prediction and risk management
- Market analysis and trend identification Portfolio optimization and asset management
- Customer segmentation and targeting
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data insights.
- Communicate complex data analysis and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and techniques.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in leading and managing data science teams within a commercial real estate or related industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing impactful data-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex data analysis into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
