As part of the Manufacturing Data Science team in the Global Animal Health Manufacturing department you will play critical role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and compliance through advanced data analytics.Responsibilities
-Apply appropriate analytical techniques and algorithms to solve business challenges effectively.
-Select and communicate the best tools and infrastructure for data science projects.
-Ensure project delivery meets high-quality standards and follows best practices.
-Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
-Lead and manage data science projects from inception to completion.
-Develop high-quality, well-documented, and reusable software code for implementing data science algorithms.
-Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders across the organization.
-Understand the business context to support decision-making processes.
-Build and refine mathematical or statistical models using available data.
-Utilize R or Python to create and implement analytical models, including simulations, optimizations, and machine learning techniques.
-Evaluate the results of analytical solutions, draw conclusions, identify alternatives, and make recommendations.
-Interpret findings and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
-Maintain comprehensive knowledge of data sources, data quality, and metadata.
-Foster a culture that views modeling and analytics as key differentiators and competitive advantages, integrating analytical tools into business processes and promoting fact-based decision-making.Requirements
-Masters degree in relevant educational field.
-Practical experience in Data Science within the Manufacturing sector is a plus.
– Strong coding skills and commitment to producing high-quality coding
– Ability to communicate statistical concepts and analyses to both senior executives and non-statisticians.Other information
