Applications are invited for the role of Research Associate in cardiovascular physiology to work in the  cardiac electrophysiology laboratory of Dr Venetucci. The project is funded by the British Heart Foundation and will investigate the role of PKG in the modulation of cardiac contractility and arrhythmogenesis. It is essential that you have extensive experience in stem cell culture, stem cell differentiation in cardiac myocytes,  western blot and PCR. A good theoretical knowledge of myocardial calcium handling is essential. This is a full-time fixed term appointment for a maximum duration of 8 months. You are expected to start as soon as possible. ​​​​​​​
