We are looking for a committed, energetic, highly organised, and delivery-oriented all-round Sr. Analyst or Associate to support the Head of Wholesale Banking (WB) the Netherlands.This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across Wholesale Banking in the Netherlands, working on key strategic initiatives while collaborating closely with senior leadership.This role requires a professional who combines common sense, curiosity, maturity, and excellent judgment with the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate organizational sensitivity.The RoleAs a change expert you will become part of the Strategy, Support & Control team that reports directly to the Head WB NL and works in close co-operation with the WBNL Management Team, ODCR and the 2LOD of WBNL. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of Wholesale Banking and business needs who helps orchestrate progress effectively in front of and behind the scenes.Key responsibilities
- Monitor and Report Progress: Oversee the progress of change projects, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any issues. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and outcomes.
- Project Management: Manage various projects, organizing meetings and calls in a structured and efficient manner, while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Facilitate Engagement: Create buy-in and engagement across all levels of the organization, while remaining confident and assertive in challenging the status quo when needed.
- Evaluate Strategic Changes: Assess the execution and success of strategic changes, track the progression of identified next steps, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with senior managers across the Wholesale and Retail domains by demonstrating business acumen and providing control and resilience solutions.
- Monitor Non-Financial Risks: Support and manage non-financial risks across the WB NL domain, ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management frameworks.
- Data Quality Management: Identify and resolve data quality issues in Vantage and IRIS, ensuring accurate and reliable data is available for decision-making.

In Addition, You Have:
- A Master’s degree and relevant work experience in one or more Wholesale Banking business lines.
- A strong understanding of the ING Wholesale Banking domain, its culture, and key stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with Dutch as a plus.
- A hands-on, self-starter mentality, able to see the bigger picture, anticipate trends, and act proactively.
- Outstanding attention to detail and follow-through on tasks and projects.
- A “can-do” attitude and the willingness to tackle challenges head-on.
