This Position reports to:

Category Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Building Division in Italy, Protection and Metering devices. Main stakeholders are internal functions like Planning – Quality – R&D.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in procurement processes and highly skilled in sourcing electronic PCBA and components. You enjoy working with ERP systems, negotiation methodologies, and supplier management tools, and you thrive in the dynamic and competitive electronics market.
• Practical experience in purchasing or similar
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Office software, ERP, and procurement tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, or similar
• Problem solving and prioritization
• Accuracy, organizational skills, and multitasking ability
• Teamwork orientation and internal collaboration
• Fluency in English and Italian
