Business and Economics Teacher – Surrey Secondary SchoolAn Outstanding secondary school in Surrey is seeking a versatile and skilled Business and Economics Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching both subjects at Key Stages 4 and 5. The school offers a stimulating environment where students can explore the interconnectedness of business and economic principles.Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in both Business and Economics, making connections between the two disciplines where appropriate.
• Prepare students for relevant qualifications (e.g., GCSE, A-Level, BTEC) in both subjects.
• Develop students’ understanding of key concepts in business management, marketing, finance, and macro/microeconomics.
• Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
• Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of both the Business and Economics curricula.
• Teaching at an Outstanding rated school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Business, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience teaching both Business and Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Strong subject knowledge in both disciplines and the ability to integrate them effectively.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A desire to teach as a Business and Economics Teacher
