The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in participating in our Product and Platform teams, working alongside Product & Platform owners to drive success. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.   • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial in your role as you identify, gather, analyze, and document user requirements from them.
  • You will effectively communicate and translate these requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria for the Product Team, while also supporting backlog management and the translation into technical specifications.
  • You will align user stories with expected product values and align use cases and personas with captured requirements.
  • You will need to effectively communicate product scope and progress to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in user research activities, such as surveys and interviews, to gather valuable user feedback.
  • Collaborating with the product team, you will develop reports and presentations that effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders.
  • You will also be responsible for creating communication materials, assisting with UAT testing plans/scripts, and analyzing product progress and KPIs to provide regular updates.
  • It is important for you to analyze market trends and stay up-to-date both inside and outside of BASF to identify growth and innovation opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Computer Science, further education in IT/Digitalization
  • Project experience
  • Work experience within Digital teams and jobs
  • Experience in internal or external Stakeholder Management
  • Experience in agriculture in an advantage
  • Communication skills, advanced English
  • Requirements Engineering
  • Building relationships and trust to Stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving, quality assurance and testing skills
  • Agile blacklog management, business processes and workflow modeling, data analysis techniques
  • Project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Department-specific applications, process mapping tools, Standard applications, analysis techniques, interview techniques, Project management, consulting methods.
