What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Building Surveyor

– Delivering building, condition and defect surveys across primary, secondary and academy school sites
– Preparing drawings, specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation with senior guidance
– Supporting and progressing contract administration, site inspections and progress meetings
– Managing elements of budgets, programmes and quality to ensure safe delivery with minimal disruption
– Maintaining accurate project records and contributing to funding or bid documentation
– Building strong working relationships with school leaders, site teams and external consultants

What you’ll bring to the table as a Building Surveyor

– A degree or equivalent qualification in building surveying or a related construction discipline, or strong relevant experience
– Previous experience working on surveying, maintenance or capital works projects, ideally in occupied buildings
– Working knowledge or strong interest in building regulations, compliance and pathology
– Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to client-facing environments
– A full UK driving licence, willingness to travel regionally and eligibility for an enhanced DBS check

Working hours: Full time, flexible working with a mix of home-based work, site visits and office meetings as required.
