Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Autodesk Vault – Systems Support Specialist to join in Essen, Germany.

The Systems Administration Specialist is responsible for providing support to end users of Hatch’s global Autodesk Vault Systems. This position requires general knowledge of networked systems and administration principles.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Triage incoming incidents

  • Provide level 1 support to incidents

  • Resolve routine incidents

  • Communicate with post level 1 support to resolve non-routine incidents

  • Maintain supporting incident records, and knowledge base articles

  • Track incidents until resolved

  • Interact with vendors as required

  • Support global audience

  • Follow, and apply procedures for issue resolution, project creation and configuration

  • Participate in the deployment, upgrade and maintainance global systems

    You bring to the role:

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with both technical, and non-technical staff in the English, and German languages

  • The ability to work, and interact effectively with a distributed team

  • Strong Troubleshooting skills

  • Strong organization, and multi-tasking abilities

  • The ability to analyze, evaluate and apply relevant information from a variety of sources

  • Experience in a support role

  • Previous experience with Autodesk Vault, or other System Administration experiences an asset

  • The ability to follow, and apply procedures as defined to resolve routine issues

  • Experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading software

  • Experience using a variety of scripting tools and languages to automate routine tasks

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Windows

  • Basic understanding of Mechanical Design

  • Basic understanding of Autodesk Inventor, or Autodesk AutoCAD applications is considered an asset
