(Associate) Procurement Consultant

Your new role

You will take ownership of strategic sourcing and transformation initiatives, working end-to-end from problem structuring to implementation and value realization. In this role, you will operate in a fast-paced, international environment and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team. You will translate data into actionable insights, design sourcing strategies across categories, and deliver high-quality materials that shape business decisions beyond procurement. This is a role with clear impact, high visibility, and strong development potential.

 

Your future team

Corporate Procurement is a global team of approximately 50 colleagues across Copenhagen, Chicago, and Krakow. You will join the PMO & Sourcing Transformation team, which sits at the center of Lundbeck’s procurement strategy and reports directly to the CFO.

The team is characterized by a high-performance mindset, strong ownership, and a fact-based approach to decision-making. You will work in an environment where responsibility is given early, and development is driven through close collaboration, feedback, and exposure to real business challenges.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

What you bring to the team

You combine strong analytical capabilities with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies. You are curious about complex value chains in a highly regulated industry and motivated to deliver measurable results. You have:

-A master’s degree in business, law, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field with a business focus
-Min. 2 years of experience from management consulting, project management within a global procurement organization or similar
-Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
 

In addition to this, you thrive in a fast-paced but highly collaborative environment with high expectations and exposure to senior management.

Annual base salary range: 582,000 – 799,700 DKK gross

At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
