We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative on behalf of a long-established manufacturing business with a strong reputation for engineering excellence.

Pay & Hours

Pay rate: 14.30 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week (flexible working)
Start times: Flexible between 6:00am, with finish times typically no later than 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities
Assemble products in line with company work instructions and engineering drawings Carry out soldering and crimping of cable and PCB assemblies Ensure all work meets required quality and production standards Maintain accurate records using company works order systems Inspect, maintain, and report issues with tools and equipment Identify and resolve assembly or process issues where possible Support the introduction of new products into production Work in line with Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities Cross-train across different assembly areas as required Support team output to meet production targets and deadlines
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment Experience with soldering or electrical/mechanical assembly (desirable) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Positive, team-focused attitude Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Willingness to learn and develop new skills
