Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: West Midlands & Wales
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 Basic, Uncapped Commission (OTE c£75k), Company Car, Phone, Laptop, Company Pension Scheme, Incentivising Holiday Allowance, Death in Service Benefit, Full Product Training.
We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional for our Area Sales Manager opening. This is a chance to be part of a respected, forward-thinking construction machinery dealership with a strong reputation, loyal customer base, and ambitious growth plans. Within the role of Area Sales Manager, you will promote both new & used machinery sales across West Midlands & Wales.
Responsibilities of the Role:
– Managing and growing sales of new and used construction machinery
– Developing long-term relationships with contractors, construction hire businesses, and end users
– Identifying new opportunities and converting leads into profitable business
– Preparing quotations, negotiating deals, and closing sales
– Working closely with service and parts teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
– Keeping up to date with market trends, competitors, and product developments
Requirements of Role:
– Proven experience in field sales (construction plant, powered access, agricultural, material handling, forklift truck, or capital equipment)
– Strong territory planning skills, with the willingness to travel
– Must be a team player
– Hold a UK driving licence
