Architect

Location: Cambridge

Salary: GBP34-40,000

An established and award-winning chartered architectural practice in Cambridge is looking for a talented and creative Architect to join its collaborative team. The studio has an impressive portfolio of medium to large-scale projects across residential, workplace, retail, leisure, and conservation sectors throughout the South and East of England. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of design and delivery, from feasibility and concept development through to technical design and contract administration. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and external consultants, contributing to projects that prioritise thoughtful design, sustainability, and high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and contribute to architectural design across sectors including residential, workplace, and leisure
* Prepare planning submissions and technical design documentation
* Produce coordinated drawings, models, and specifications
* Assist with contract administration and carry out site inspections
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design quality and project delivery

Candidate Profile

* ARB-registered Architect with Part III qualification or equivalent
* Strong design skills underpinned by solid technical knowledge
* Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
* Confident communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
* Proficient in Revit and other relevant design software
