AI Governance Specialist – Data & AI Governance Team
We are currently searching for an AI Governance Specialist to join our Data and AI Governance team.
Location: Flexible (Toulouse, France / Eindhoven, Netherlands)
Duration : 12 months
Hybrid: 3 days on site and 2 days remote
Role Overview
-You will play a critical role in developing and enforcing policies that guide the responsible use of AI within the organisation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations and mitigate potential risks.
-Your work will directly contribute to building trust with stakeholders and maintaining a strong commitment to ethical AI practices.
-You will contribute to the development of the AI Governance programme, helping establish the appropriate mechanisms to balance AI value and risk. This includes AI opportunities, responsible AI development, and AI compliance frameworks.
-You will work with stakeholders globally, including specialists from AI Centres of Expertise, Central Data, Central Technology, IT offices, as well as Legal and Government Affairs teams.
-This position offers development opportunities in Eindhoven (NL), Toulouse (FR), and Austin (US).
Key Responsibilities
You will primarily support the establishment of best-in-class AI Governance processes, policies, awareness, and practices, assisting the Data & AI Governance Lead. This role spans technology, business, and legal domains.
-Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and best practices
-Conduct AI risk assessments to identify ethical, legal, and reputational risks
-Stay up to date with evolving AI regulations and compliance requirements
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build consensus and promote responsible AI practices
-Support continuous improvement of governance processes and organisational maturity in AI governance
Candidate Profile
-Master’s degree in Engineering, Law, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related field
-10–15 years of industry or consultancy experience
-Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias, transparency, and regulatory frameworks
-Familiarity with relevant AI regulations and guidelines
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities
-Comfortable working with abstract concepts and governance frameworks
-Highly technology-savvy with curiosity and willingness to stay current
-Reliable, accountable, proactive, and structured approach to work
-Strong hands-on mentality with ability to deliver results in cross-fu
