The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments within the Accounting & Finance department. Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk’s responsibilities include:
Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and data entry into the accounting system. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process payment runs in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries and provide payment updates. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update internal systems as required. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and reconciliations. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies at all times.
Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-related role. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records. Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
