£28.43 per hour We are currently supporting a welcoming and ambitious Further Education setting in appointing a passionate and creative A Level Art & Design Lecturer to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover contract .

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator who can engage learners, nurture artistic development, and deliver high-quality teaching that supports students in achieving their full creative potential.

The Role
. Deliver engaging and inspiring A Level Art & Design lessons
. Support learners in developing practical, creative, and critical artistic skills
. Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
. Monitor learner progress and provide targeted academic support
. Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
. Encourage learner achievement, progression, and confidence
The Ideal Candidate
Relevant degree within Art, Design, Fine Art, Visual Arts, or a related subject area Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent desirable) Experience teaching Art & Design at KS5 / A Level / Further Education level Strong communication and classroom management skills Passion for creativity, education, and learner development Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing Opportunity to inspire aspiring artists and creatives
