Your Impact

You’ll work in teams of typically 3–5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of the client engagement.

This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You’ll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

You’ll gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams.

Join us with a ‘behind the scene’ opportunity to discover consulting and get familiar with our company. Become a SUMMER BUSINESS ANALYST INTERN in our Milan office.

For ~8 weeks starting from June until the beginning of August you will be part of our client teams. You will work with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences and businesses.

You will be part of a real projects and you will work with our consultants. One of our best professional will be your tutor on the ground and will guide you through the experience.

Your qualifications and skills

  • III Year Bachelor Degree or I Year Master Degree in economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics
  • Outstanding record of academic achievements
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through structured analysis and quantitative thinking
  • Comfort with intellectually challenging and ever changing situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English and Italian (mandatory)
  • Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities
