CEVA Air & Ocean Italy S.P.A. is seeking a dedicated Logistics Operations Administrator to join our Air&Ocean Import Operations team based in Venezia/Marcon, Via Porta Est. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations within our Import division, contributing directly to the seamless execution of air and ocean freight services.

As a Logistics Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and timely according to company standards and customer requirements. You will play a key role in liaising with various internal departments and external partners, including carriers, customs authorities, and clients, to facilitate efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and update stakeholders on shipment status.
  • Support the scheduling and planning of cargo movements, optimizing logistics flow to meet deadlines and cost targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to logistics operations, assisting in performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Ocean Operations team to identify process improvements and implement best practices within logistics workflows.
  • Provide exceptional support to customers and internal teams by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving operational issues.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience in logistics administration or a related field, ideally within air and ocean freight environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage complex documentation and shipment schedules effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with diverse teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping regulations is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team setting, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
