This critical-to-success role will create a visible talent pipeline, lead and drive workforce planning, succession planning, talent diversity development plans for the French Market
- Explore, research and implement requirements for Emerging markets, setting up core HR practices that are compliant with local labour laws and best practice in the market

- Use analytics to enable business leaders to make decisions faster and based on data, by identifying trends, considering stakeholders’ views, recommending solutions to improve performance, speed, retention, and employee engagement.
- Implement functional/global strategies to recruit and retain diverse, world-class talent, balanced with a true interest for individual wellbeing at Dematic.
- Partner with and inspire the French leadership team to behave every day as role models, being accountable not only for “what” they must achieve but equally for the “how” they obtain results, being meaningful and fostering a context open to new ideas and to experiment.
- Be the simplification agent for operations and provide insights to employees, people leaders and peers in support of Dematic teamwork; advocate for employees and team members and face constructive conflict when useful for the best of the future organization; fail fast and be humble to recognize vulnerability.
- Provide oversight and direction in the handling of complex employee relations matters, apply processes to obtain results, facilitate relationships, always with integrity and ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
Champion initiatives that support the success of the organisations growth and reinforce a collaborative, aligned and engaged culture
- Directly applicable Human Resource Leadership experience in a fast paced, innovative, engineering / technology company.
- CIPD Qualified or equivalent, and/or proven relevant direct work experience required.
- Experience in complex, multicultural, global organizations preferred.
- Demonstrated success building organization structure, culture and engagement, in an outcomes-oriented context.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Human Resources areas including Talent Development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Organizational Design, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, and Change Management.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results.
- Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence.
- Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and competence in making timely, effective, data-based decisions.
Experience developing and motivating a multifunctional team, as well as leading through organizational and behavioural change. Must have change management leadership capabilitiesTasks and Qualifications:About you:
- 3+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience, preferably in working with populations of technical professionals (engineering, R&D, IT etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
- English language skills, both written and verbal, at all levels.
- Highly collaborative with strong consultative, analytical, time management, and project management skills.
- You have the ability to influence others, resolve complex problems, and identify systemic issues.
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to time manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- You instantly build robust working relationships.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to negotiate with managers.
- Resilient with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be confident in your decision-making.
