What you’ll do

You will be responsible for operating core cloud operations tools and processes like monitoring, customer communication, change management safeguarding and others. The team works daily with our Cloud Engineering teams, who operate products like SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA and the Business Technology Platform providing tools, automation and optimization for productive Incident Management, Problem Management and other practices related to the ITIL framework.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

-Build an empowered, motivated, and high-performing team, develop supportive team culture and climate
-Drive operational delivery through agile methodologies allowing teams to react quickly to changing business needs and demonstrate change resilience
-Take care of the effective execution, oversee interactions with other teams to ensure on-time and correctly prioritized delivery and accountability
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to constantly evolve organizational processes and best practices and ensure best-in-class end-to-end delivery
-Convey a sense of ownership in everything you and your team does

What you bring

-University education in computer science, software engineering or a similar technical field
-Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role – People Manager, Product Owner, Program Manager or similar
-Strong decision-making, problem solving and execution skills
-Strong technical background and willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues.
-Highly organized, self-aware, emotionally intelligent person, able to handle pressure and deadlines, prioritizing and managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to connect and easily relate to people of all levels and background
-Can-do attitude,

ffective communicator, able to convey clear messages, vision and guidance
-Fluency in English

The Technology & Innovation (T&I) unit is building the next-generation solutions part of the Business Technology Platform like SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Data intelligence, etc.Our development organization is spread globally, with Sofia, Walldorf, Berlin, Vancouver, and Bangalore being our locations.

To enable our solutions to succeed in this fast-growing market, a best-in-class operations team working by the DevOps principles is fundamentally necessary. We are looking for a Development Manager who leads the team that builds, improves, and maintains the toolset required for our global Cloud Operations team to keep our solutions live 24/7 efficiently
