Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Global Medical Lead for Epilepsy who is a subject matter expert, collaborative, and has excellent communication skills to join us in our Global Medical Affairs Neurology team, based preferably in our Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium, or Slough, UKAbout the RoleAs the Global Medical Lead for Epilepsy, you will provide medical expertise and executional leadership to drive the right adoption of our solutions, elevate the standard of care, and improve patient outcomes. You will play a critical role in implementing the asset strategy, engaging with external stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support an epilepsy asset in development. You will be a core member of the medical asset sub-team and contribute to the development of the disease strategy and the medical plan in alignment with the asset strategy.Who You’ll Work WithYou will be working in a dynamic team that includes professionals from diverse backgrounds in medical affairs, clinical development and external engagement. You will collaborate closely with regional and local teams, scientific societies, and key opinion leaders to advance our medical strategies and initiatives.What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the development and lead the execution of the medical affairs strategy of an asset in development for the rapid and early treatment of acute seizure.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific societies.
- Collaborate with medical asset sub-team members to support the execution of the medical asset strategy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills
- Medical degree (MD) or Ph.D., with a preference for an M.D. in Neurology specialization.
- 5+ years of experience in medical affairs at global, regional, or local levels.
- Strong background in neurology, epilepsy, acute care and seizure emergencies management.
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills, with experience in complex scientific environments.
