What will be your Key Responsibilities?

• You ‘ll lead our external communications to the media, keeping the world engaged and excited about our key messages and initiatives.
• Increase consumer engagement with our iconic brands by supporting our Brand PR activities.
• Define and refine our corporate positions, helping teams across the company deliver consistent, compelling messages.
• Provide key talking points and support for high-profile events, ensuring our leaders shine.
• Be the alternate member of the Crisis Management Team, ready to jump in and steer the ship in challenging times.
• You’ll become the face and voice of Mars in the Netherlands, representing us in the media and beyond.

What are we looking for?

• A master of the bigger picture: You can quickly dive into content and translate complex strategies into easy-to-understand communication tactics.
• A natural prioritizer: You know how to juggle multiple tasks and keep all the balls in the air.
• You’re a pro at handling the press, both offline and online, with experience in external communications and media relations.
• Social Media Whiz: You understand how to navigate the fast-paced world of digital communication.
• Comfortable working with senior management and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• HBO/WO Degree in Communications/Journalism/Marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, media relations, or as a spokesperson.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English – because you’ll need both to make your mark!
