We are dedicated to executing major global infrastructure projects, navigating a dynamic and challenging environment to guarantee safety, promptness, quality, and budget compliance.
  • Within our Digital Engineering division, we specialise in delivering and integrating digital solutions aimed at facilitating renewable energy production and ensuring dependable operations. As the primary provider of digital solutions within the Business Unit Offshore Wind, we oversee the whole value chain, from bid acquisition to asset construction and operation.
  • Our focus lies on Operational Technology (OT) and IT, harnessing control and analytic modelling synergies to optimise engineering design through comprehensive data integration.
  • Cybersecurity remains paramount across our portfolio within BU Offshore Wind and other BA Wind business units, as we uphold the grand standards in this regard.
  • Presently, we seek a seasoned professional to assume the role of Head of SCADA Engineering, leading our SCADA Engineering section within the esteemed Digital Engineering Leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a current Team of 4 managers and 50+ Full-Time Employed individual.
  • Ensure sound collaboration with our Partners IT and our Business Area Digitalization Team.
  • Nourish product thinking in the organization, and support teams in agile ways of working
  • Manage and Develop capabilities in SCADA Engineering to stay competitive, relevant and efficient.
  • Actively promote the technical authority to provide a value driven business focus
  • Apply a feasible and disruptive innovative arena, balancing risk and opportunities in order to enable the business strategy
  • Manage budgets and costs within the area.
  • Some travel can be expected as the team is geographical spread in 5 locations in Northern Europe.

Your role / what will you do?

  • As the leader overseeing SCADA engineering, you’ll oversee various individually managed teams, including Scada Projects, SCADA Operations, Scada Infrastructure, and SCADA Products & OT. Your role as a catalyst for potential extends to elevating collaboration for enhanced project delivery and operational maturity, as well as empowering engineers for automation to drive digital transformation.
  • Managing stakeholders effectively across operational and strategic realms, you’ll facilitate digital integration in greenfield and brownfield operations. Leveraging your extensive experience in digital product development and sustainable value creation, you’ll spearhead initiatives that propel our organisation forward.
  • Your strategic acumen and ability to navigate complex landscapes are crucial in guiding our digital journey to success.
  • Your initial focus lies in cultivating robust internal collaboration and championing cross-functional teams for a cohesive approach. Utilising your leadership competencies, you’ll align managers and individual team members to foster a shared vision and collaborative culture.
  • Also, you’ll strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders within our Partners IT and our BA, enhancing operational efficiency and product delivery through agile methodologies. As a strategic and people-oriented leader, your expertise in digital product development and sustainable value creation drives your commitment to digital transformation.

  • Strong understanding of the value of Data and digital solutions
  • Strong Understanding of Data Pipeline, maintenance, and establishment, including knowledge of one or more products to support data acquisition from distributed field operations.
  • Good understanding of SCADA Logic and User Interfaces.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools and software.

As our Head Of SCADA Engineering, you will bring:

  • Ability to build strong relationships to influence the agenda also without formal authority.
  • You have an engineering university degree (M.Sc. or PhD) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience including experience in leadership.
  • Experienced in Leading Leaders is beneficial.
  • You command English in both verbal and written form.
  • You possess a positive mindset and see opportunities with a “glass half full” approach to your work.
  • You are highly motivated and communicative with enthusiasm and can be a role model for our technical specialist.
