£32,732 – £39,096 per annumCity College is seeking a qualified and experienced Youth Worker to lead on the development and implementation of a new Youth Worker Degree Apprenticeship programme.You will be qualified to Degree level in Youth Work and have extensive experience of practice. You academic and vocational skills and knowledge will enable you to liaise with a broad range of employers and expert practitioners to design a full degree programme which meets the requirements of the UEA as our validating partner and the National Youth Service.Working with experienced HE colleagues you will ensure that the new programme is ready for first teaching from September ’25.Engaging employers and stakeholders in design and delivery is a key aspect of the role.For an informal discussion please contact Samantha Ratcliffe, Head of Higher Education atPlease click to view the Job Description and person specification

Closing date: Sunday 28 April 2024 at MidnightAs a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
