Job Advertisement: Year 4 TeacherLocation: HalewoodStart Date: Monday, 15th April 2024Contract Type: Temporary (Until the end of the academic year)We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a dynamic staff team at a Primary School in Halewood. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic and personal development.Roles and Responsibilities: * Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Year 4 students, ensuring the curriculum objectives are met.

  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to support their learning journey.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Implement strategies to differentiate instruction, ensuring all students are appropriately challenged and supported in their learning.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn, maintaining high standards of behaviour and discipline.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities, share best practices, and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Parental Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, academic achievements, and areas for development.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices, stay updated with educational trends, and contribute to your own professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
