Are you a Year 1 Teacher with a real passion to share and educate young people? Step Teachers are working alongside an ambitious primary school in Thetford, who are seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join them for a whole academic year starting in FebruaryYear 1 Teacher – Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school
• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Year 1 Teacher – Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
• Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• SEND experience is desirable
